Published Fri 31 Jan 2025

The General Committee met on the 16th of January at 7pm for the year's first meeting.

We approved new members Angie Cassar, Husain Mehdi, Julie Winken and Amy Haw, please make them feel welcome as you meet them.

As a part of the wider communications strategy, we decided to explore a debit or credit card as a part of the infrastructure required to implement a community engagement digital marketing program before next season.

The new Pontoon is nearly completed with some small adjustments made for anchor points on the Pontoon and additional stabilising chains to be added. This will then complete this project.

We have completed the upgrade of the Septic Tank, we should now have trouble-free facilities for some time.

We have identified the main areas and items for maintenance and upgrade.

-Rescue Boat/Fleet
- Fresh water supply
- Tractor
- Roads
- Site access and security
- Fix wooden jetty
- BBQ
- Gutters
- Kitchen upgrade
- Male Toilets / bathrooms
- Main hall ceiling
- Committee room to have a clean out and cull!!!

This will form the overall operational plan being put into place along with other items that the memberships have identified as nice to have such as a boom gate entrance, outdoor speakers for music, lighting on the deck etc.

The new club Timpenny has had its first sail and there have been some small items to be upgraded, the Timpenny will now be available for access to members via the booking process on the website, please note access to the Timpenny is conditional on your acceptance of the terms of use, which will be placed on the web site in the coming days.

Your committee reviewed the financial position of the club and approved a range of administrative matters before closing the meeting at 9.15 pm full meeting minutes are always available via our club secretary.
