The week that was and whats on next weekend.

What a glorious sailing day Saturday the 12th of October was: the sailing school kicked off in perfect learner's breeze, increasing nicely for the afternoon race. A good fleet found perfect Eppalock sailing conditions and close racing ensued.

Saturday night was the Trivia night, the highlight being the paper plane competition, duly won by John Cooper, who scored a bottle of Jasper Hills finest. Loads of prizes were on offer from our sponsors, Guzman and Gomez, Woolworths Kennington, Strath Hill Butcher, and Baker's Delight. The winning team scored a bottle of Paul Osika Shiraz each, and the smiles were evident. There is nothing like a winner.

Next weekend we have a packed agenda with sailing school and racing on Saturday and the Initial ROUS event on Sunday - ideal for all boats, shapes and sizes.

On Sunday the 20th of October we also have a special event: Lunch by the lake, a great opportunity to bring some friends out to experience our club at its best. The lunch will include a talk on the club's history and Lake Eppalock and a tour of our facilities. The lunch itself will be a Seafood Paella with a Vegetarian option - only $25 a head and special rates for families.

This is the first time we are running this event, the aim being, to introduce new people to our club.To book places use the following link https://www.beyc.org.au/events/register/249486
